Christina Almtun is to become the new head of European operations at Swedish animal insurance company Agria. She will take up her new position on 18 August. In addition to managing the existing subsidiaries, Almtun will also lead the company's expansion into future markets. With millions of uninsured pets and horses in Europe, there is huge potential for growth, the company says.
Almtun comes from the insurance company Svedea, where she was commercial head for 13 years. Agria is headquartered in Sweden and has operations in seven other European countries: Norway, Denmark, Finland, Germany, France, the UK and Ireland.
