Growing in Shanghai

The 21st edition of Pet Fair Asia and the 17th edition of Aquarama take place in the Shanghai New International Expo Centre from 22 to 26 August. The shows will now occupy ten halls, accommodating more than 1 300 exhibitors. Compared with 2017, the exhibition floor space has increased by 25 per cent to 125 000 m². This is the first time that Pet Fair Asia has been staged at the same venue as Aquarama, and the organisers anticipate more business opportunities with suppliers of aquariums, aquatics systems and exporters of ornamental fish from all over the world. One of the halls is reserved for international suppliers who are entering Asian markets or looking for local partners.
Various conferences and competitions are taking place before and during the fair, such as the 8th International Pet Industry Summit, the 7th Petfood Forum China, the Annual Meeting for Pet Hospital Management, the Aquarama International Fish Competition, Marine Tank Competition and the World Dog Competition.
Over the three days of Pet Fair Asia the show is expected to attract 50 000 trade visitors and 110 000 consumers at the weekend.
