20 000 visitors to Guangzhou

The 11th China International Pet Show 2007 (CIPS) attracted 2 300 foreign visitors in addition to 17 700 Chinese visitors, according to the organisers, the China Great Wall Exhibition Co. Ltd., Nürnberg Global Fairs and the Guandong Aquarium Association. Nearly 27 per cent of the visitors were retailers, around 20.5 per cent were wholesalers, 18 per cent exporters and importers and just under 17 per cent were manufacturers. Of the 463 exhibitors, 28 came from abroad (including Brazil, Korea, Australia, Poland and the USA). An exhibition area of over 11 000 m² was occupied. The CIPS 2008 will take place from 6 to 9 November in Beijing.
