The UK firm Interpet, now part of the Central Garden & Pet Company, unveiled a new aquatics brand especially for children at the Petindex trade show in Birmingham. "Vivo" is a 25 l goldfish aquarium developed especially for children and is supplied with filter, water and fish treatments. Lighting, automatic feeder and additional plastic construction packs as well as other accessories can be supplied separately. It comes with a build-your-own underwater obstacle course, giving children the opportunity to create and construct new worlds for their fish each and every time they clean them out. A pop-up light that prompts cleaning every four weeks and feeding twice a day shall captivate children, who appear to be more prepared to take heed of their Vivo's technologically prompted instructions to feed and clean than their parents' pleas.
