Happy birthday, Ferplast

The success of Ferplast, which was founded fifty years ago by the man who is still its president, Carlo Vaccari, and his sister Caterina, now vice-president, is a fine example of Italian business prowess. 
Inventiveness, determi­nation, a desire to achieve and plenty of sacrifices are the ingre­dients that make up the remarkable story of Ferplast, which began life in a basement in 1966 and now occupies some 170 000 m2 spread over three production plants in Italy, Slovakia and Ukraine. The Vaccari family has plenty of reasons, therefore, to celebrate this important milestone together with their employees, customers and suppliers. 

... was the right place to do it in the most magnificent way. The company booth was designed so as to give most of the space over to conviviality: the relationship with its customers has always been a company value and was the most important issue at this year's fair. The family wanted to thank all the people who had believed in the company and supported its growth. On the first day of the fair, an opening party was organised, with a real Italian restaurant to delight all invited customers and suppliers. A monumental cake and live dance closed the evening.

The second venue for the celebrations was in Castelgomberto, where the company's headquarters are based, in the amazing Villa da Schio. More than 500 guests attended a gala rich in entertainment related to the fabulous world of pets.The beautiful hostesses were dressed respectively as a cat, a dog, an exotic bird, a fish, a rabbit and a chameleon. A 3D video presenting the company history as a pet allegory was projected on the villa facade during the dinner, enchanting all the guests, while a magical butterfly dance accompanied them to the monumental 2-metre high cake designed with relief animals.
The party ended with magnificent fireworks in the best tradition.
