Petzoo reportedly works with 300 manufacturing companies and distributors of pet products, and all product categories in the pet sector are covered with the exception of aquatics. A wide range of accessories is presented in particular, appealing primarily to customers with money to spend who want to spoil their pets. Toys, blankets, beds and cushions, collars and leashes are all lavishly displayed. The owners of small dog breeds are a key focus, as evidenced by the large selection of dog apparel and grooming products. 
Cat owners will also find plenty of items to take their fancy. Petzoo offers virtually every kind of cat litter currently on the market, and there's a huge selection of tray products for cats and scratching posts as well.

The retail area is spotless and everything is in its proper place. The floor gleams and the pet food products on the light-grey shelving are illuminated by additional spotlights as if they were valuable items of jewellery. Located to the rear of the sales floor is a large display enclosure for small mammals, something that is probably unique in Shanghai. Reptiles are also offered for sale in the store.
