Aquarium show in China

It is reported that the related organisation of fisheries will propose to rank recreational fishery, along with the aquaculture industry, among the "five industrial systems" in the 12th five-year plan of China. This national policy will certainly promote the rapid development of the aquarium industry in China, thus creating optimum conditions for the second International Aquarium Show from 18 to 20 March 2016 in the International Sourcing Centre in Guangzhou, China. Even before these developments, however, China had a thriving aquatics market, according to the show organiser, Guangdong Grandeur International Exhibition Group. There are over 10 mio aquarium enthusiasts in China. Moreover, Guangdong Province is not only China's largest aquarium fish breeding and trading base, but also the production centre for aquarium equipment and supplies.

As well as the many new products and innovations on display, the fair organiser is putting on various competitions, forums and seminars for the trade visitors attending. Events running concurrently with the fair include the First China (Guangzhou) International Koi Culture Exhibition 2016, the First China International Amphibians and Reptiles Exposition 2016 and the first China International Goldfish Ornamental Tasting 2016. Visitors will naturally find a wide range of products for aquariums and terrariums, like all kinds of aquarium fishes, amphibians and reptiles. In addition, the show will feature aquatic photography products, aquarium landscaping, magazines, media, associations, research institutions, etc.
The first Guanghzou International Aquarium Show welcomed around 200 exhibitors on an exhibition area of 10 000 m².
