The entrepreneur believes that people transfer their personality and lifestyle to their pets. They often choose the type of dog according to their way of life, and clothing is selected in a similar manner. Mayte Stiller stresses that a happy dog is at the centre of the entire product philosophy: "It is very important for us that the dog feels very comfortable and can run, jump and play, forgetting about the clothing."At Dog Model they are proud of the fact that the products are designed, developed and produced at the company's headquarters in Barcelona. Mayte Stiller herself supervises all stages of the operation, and is also responsible for the designs. The fabrics and materials also come from Spanish manufacturers. The company now plans to expand its export activities to European countries and the USA, offering a fresh, new dog fashion concept. "Our growth in the past six years has been slow but stable. We have recently grown into an international business," designer Meye Roig states. The design and development of new products is aimed at making the daily life of owners and pets easier. The products should provide a solution to their needs, be easy to use for pet owners and comfortable for pets. The designs and patterns are created by Meye Roig and all materials are sourced in Spain. Production takes place in the company's facilities in Barcelona, with a separate workplace for every process.
