"The most important companies from the pet industry will show their product ranges and latest innovations for 2007," states the press notice from the organiser, the Dutch industry association Dibevo. The main sponsors of Dibevo, which will occupy around 9 000 m² of exhibition space in all, are Tetra, Eukanuba, Flamingo and Warmako. The fair's web page has been redesigned and can be visited at www.dibevovakbeurs.com.The Dutch trade fair has long been considered an important industry event in Benelux, and thus it is no surprise that the majority of exhibitors are Dutch wholesale companies and manufacturers, including Holland Diervoerders (Eukanuba), Aquadistri, G.H. Prins en Zonen, Smulders and Beaphar. Foreign exhibitors come primarily from neighbouring Germany, among them companies such as Sera, Flamingo, Bewital, Karlie and JBL, and from Belgium, for example Flamingo and Versele Laga. Almost all the familiar international brands are represented at the fair, for the most part under the umbrella of the respective wholesaler or a subsidiary such as Vitakraft Nederland, Royal Canin Nederland or Ferplast Benelux.Dibevo 2006 is the 65th fair in all and there have been numerous changes in the show's frequency and concept during its history. In 2004 it reverted back to being an annual event, having previously taken place every two years and alternating with Interzoo in Nuremberg. Prior to that, there were a few years in which Dibevo was even held biannually, in the spring and autumn. Another special feature of Dibevo is that the venue is changed virtually every year. The organisers hope by this to give pet dealers who are based a long way from one particular venue an opportunity to attend the show elsewhere.Initially viewed critically but now firmly established is the "All Inclusive" concept introduced in 2004: visitors and exhibitors alike receive complimentary refreshments at the catering points. Exhibitors can even have refreshments delivered to their stand. And the car parking is free too. phg
