Growing with new products  

"Our growth is based above all on new products," company director Daan Aa stated in PET in Europe 11-12/2005. Food and care products are very important segments for Beaphar. Research and development at its headquarters in Raalte are accorded a high priority. Today the range comprises around 600 pet products in the pest control, hygiene and nutrition spheres, and this will be expanded by some interesting novelties: . "Care+" is effective nutrition for rodents. The extruded food is consumed in its entirety (no left-overs), is exceptionally palatable and packed full of healthy ingredients. Added echinacea strengthens immunity, the crunchy chunks promote healthy teeth and gums and it contains just the right balance of Omega 3/6 fatty acids. The new food for rodents is available in special formulas for rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, rats, chinchillas and ferrets. . "XtraVital Happy Weekend" is a series of snacks for rodents and birds designed to help assuage the increasing concern among pet owners about the health of their pets. The "Happy Weekend" blocks are made of "XtraVital" premium rodent and bird food, which contains everything the pet needs in just the right balance. . The multi-vitamin sprays are designed specifically for each type of animal. They distribute the vitamins evenly through the food and are easy to use. Beaphar offers a range comprising 14 different formulas for dogs, cats, rodents and birds. . "Odour Killer" is composed of urine-absorbing granules. The odour is encapsulated and unable to escape, and the urine is then broken down by natural bacteria. The cat litter stays hygienic and lasts up to twice as long. The new product contains a mild fragrance, acceptable to cats, for a fresh smell. It is bio-degradable and 100 per cent safe. . The premium shampoos form a new range of quality shampoos and conditioners for cats and dogs. The range consists of aloe vera shampoos for all coat colours, and ensures a dog's skin is gently moisturised. Also Active Repair complex shampoos and a conditioner, which find and repair damaged hairs, leaving the coat smooth and shiny. The "Haircare+" shampoos are for greasy coats and for a natural shine. The shampoos are enhanced with attractive colours & fragrances. Beaphar will be exhibiting at Interzoo in Hall 4, Stand 432.
