Established in 1981 as Anglian Meat Products, the Norfolk-based company Natures Menu Petfood attaches importance to offering the pet speciality trade a high-quality alternative to mainstream pet food products. “We don’t like to play about with our food. Our whole meats are simply cut, chopped or minced and then blended into convenient, easy-to-serve meals,” states the company. Natures Menu Petfood recently launched a new range of cat food with 70 per cent real meat in 100g pouches, which contain 30 per cent more than the leading market contender, as the company emphasizes. It states that all products are free of artificial ingredients, preservatives, colourings and flavourings. The new range comprises “Chicken for Kittens”, “Chicken and Turkey”, “Beef and Heart” and “Chicken, Salmon and Tuna”. A multipack case comprising 12x3 100g varieties will be available soon. The product range of Natures Menu Petfood also includes multipacks of adult dog food pouches, which contain 60 per cent meat and are easy to open. Natures Menu Petfood cites further benefits of the new range: simple, clear and easy-to-read ingredients, no gravy or jelly, just loaves of meatiness that will sustain the pet, whole pieces of vegetables, wholegrain rice and no added artificial ingredients, colours or flavours.
