The Pet Sustainability Coalition (PSC) announces that Morris Packaging has become the first US-based company to achieve Northstar membership, PSC's highest membership level. This milestone reflects Morris Packaging's ongoing commitment to responsible sourcing, transparency and environmental stewardship in the pet industry.

A PSC member since 2019, Morris Packaging chose to elevate its partnership to the Northstar level based on the PSC's proven leadership in advancing sustainability in the pet industry. According to Penny Steinwagner, director of sustainability at Morris Packaging, PSC's collaborative and solutions-oriented approach provides valuable, unbiased support to drive meaningful progress across the industry. „Morris prides itself on our company-wide commitment and technical expertise to continually set new standards and develop environmentally friendly structures to meet changing legislation and to develop the most sustainable packaging options to meet our customers' needs,“ said Penny Steinwagner.

Jim Lamancusa, Executive Director of the Pet Sustainability Coalition, adds: "Morris Packaging's commitment to innovation and circular sustainability is a powerful example for the pet industry. From incorporating recycled materials into their packaging to their deep involvement with the PSC and our events like Pet Summit Impact Unleashed, they continue to lead the way in driving meaningful progress for the planet, their customers and the industry as a whole.“
