The Pet Sustainability Coalition (PSC) has expanded its leadership with the addition of Adam Kay (Tyler Packaging) and Joanne Dwyer (PetSmart) to its Board of Directors, and the election of Stephie Volo (Earth Animal) as Board Chair for 2025. The new members will help the PSC to profitably implement sustainable business practices, bring an international perspective to the PSC's efforts, and strengthen the coalition's commitment to promoting sustainability at all levels of the industry, the PSC says.
The PSC says it sees these appointments as an important step in expanding its influence and achieving its 10-year-goal of engaging over 50 per cent of the global pet care market in more sustainable practices by 2035. “What started as a small coalition of like-minded companies has grown into a powerful force for change. The addition of Adam and Joanne reflects how far PSC has come – and where we are going. Their leadership will help us push the boundaries of what is possible and ensure that sustainability is not just an initiative, but the foundation for the future of the pet industry,” says Chris Bentley, co-founder of PSC.
