Following a record-breaking year and the most successful period in its fifty-year history, Kennelpak, the British pet specialist wholesaler, brand owner and distributor, has announced a series of strategic leadership changes to position the company for its next phase of growth.

Claire Bayliss, who has served as Chief Executive Officer for the past three and a half years, will the take up the position of Executive Chair of the Board, and Nigel Wright, currently Kennelpak’s Commercial Director, will be promoted to Managing Director with effect from 1 January. Further strengthening the Kennelpak senior management team, Ian Dowell has been promoted to Sales & Marketing Director.

These changes follow a period of exceptional performance for Kennelpak, with its carefully curated portfolio of own and global brands, highlighted by the successful sale of the company’s retail business, Pets & Friends to PSR Trading Ltd in August and a record year for sales and profits, says the company. Kennelpak is also planning a strategic relocation to new premises in the Nottinghamshire area next year.

The Kennelpak Group's product range includes the pet food brands Yakers, Duchess, Dylan, Breederpack, Kennelboy and Himalayan Pet Supply brands.
