The Dutch pet supplies company Beeztees and its German subsidiary Karlie have opened a new logistics centre in Waalwijk, just a few steps away from the Beeztees headquarters. The new location, which was inaugurated in mid-April, enables Beeztees and Karlie to provide their customers with even better service, according to the company. This is made possible by an optimised fine-picking process, reduction in replenishment and by increasing efficiency in the overall logistics operation.

The company says that the entire team worked hard to set up the new centre and moving inventory (of over 8 000 different items). The capacious warehouse covers 23 088 m² with a mezzanine no less than 11 metres wide along its entire length (228.6 m). An automated lift system, new shelving units, a modern canteen and up-to-date workstations have been installed. In addition, there is operational pallet storage of approximately 27 850 euro pallets in size and ample space for the varied, innovative range of pet supplies.
