The International World of Private Label trade show of the Private Label Manufacturers Association took place once more from 31 May to 1 June. The organisers report that more than 15 000 buyers and visitors from 120 countries came to Amsterdam. According to the association, the PLMA fair is the world’s biggest merchandise fair.
The list of retailers given an international Salute-to-Excellence award by the PLMA for innovative, high-quality private labels in the categories of food, wine and non-food featured countless sustainable products. “The large number of sustainable, environment-friendly products demonstrates the commitment of retailers to the idea of a greener planet,” said PLMA president Peggy Davies.
