Hornbach expands further with new store format

After Hornbach opened the first project stores of a new type in Borås and Kristianstad in Sweden in 2018 and 2019, a third location followed in Trollhättan on 29 June.
On a sales area of around 9 000 m², private and professional customers have direct access to around 25 000 articles here. Using mobile devices and stationary terminals, 60 000 articles can be ordered via the Hornbach online shop and also delivered to the Trollhättan shop if required.
Hornbach Byggmarknad AB is leasing the property for twelve years and has invested 47 mio Swedish Kronor (approx. 4.6 mio euros) in the location. The new store employs around 50 people.
With this new opening, Hornbach now operates a total of eight DIY stores in Sweden.
