Purina supports domestic abuse victims

Purina and the charitable organisation Red Rover are expanding the Purple Leash Project to ensure that a quarter of all facilities for domestic abuse victims in the USA and Canada are pet-friendly by 2025.
To this end, Purina is offering specially marked packages for several of its products this month, including Beggin', Tidy Cats, Purina Cat Chow and Beneful, with the aim of donating more than 1 million dollars. The pet-friendly accommodation facilities should enable survivors and their pets to escape abusive environments.
Since establishing the Purple Leash Project, Purina and Red Rover have made 21 Purple Leash Project donations amounting to more than 300 000 US dollars in total.
