Rogz had obviously to close its plant

Serious crisis in South Africa

07.04.2020

South Africa has reacted to the coronavirus outbreak with stringent measures. People may only leave their homes to shop for food.
Many companies and institutions are closed across the country with the exception of hospitals, supermarkets, banks, petrol stations, food manufacturers and other healthcare facilities. In the pet supplies sector, the accessories manufacturer Rogz also appears to have been impacted. Unconfirmed reports received by PET worldwide indicate that the company had to close its plant until further notice due to the strict regulations of the South African government.
Based in Cape Town, Rogz employs approximately 150 people. As the internationally active company has a high goods capacity in its foreign markets, there should be no delivery problems in the forthcoming weeks.
Many pet stores have significantly shortened their opening hours and have been opening for two to three hours on two or three days a week. Customers may not go into the stores, but are served at the entrance.
