Global Pet Expo impacted by coronavirus

Compared with previous years, the US pet supplies trade show Global Pet Expo experienced a drastic downturn in visitor numbers as a consequence of the coronavirus. However, the fair still offered an important venue for the international pet sector to meet up.
"Total buyer attendance came in at 6 041, 22 per cent of which consisted of international buyers representing 78 countries," stated the closing report, just released, of the two fair organisers APPA and Pida. The show featured 1 066 exhibiting companies with 3 541 booths filled with the latest in pet product innovations.
