Trixie is pet supplier of the year

Two significant awards were presented at the Pet Conference in Wiesbaden: the pet supplier of the year and the pet speciality retailer of the year received the awards at the gala evening. The award for best pet supplier in Germany, which was presented for the first time this year, went to Trixie Heimtierbedarf, Tarp. More than 220 pet supply businesses, representing around 300 stores across Germany, took part in the survey organised by the pet editorial team and cast their vote. Of 30 speciality retailers suggested for the title of best pet speciality retailer in Germany, the pet editorial team chose Zoo Ratzesberger in Freilassing. Kurt and Sabine Ratzesberger started up with a small pet shop in 1992; now they offer their customers a shopping experience in a retail area of 1 700 m².
