The plot is based on the story of the creation of the company Collar, which grew out of Yuriy Sinitsia’s childhood dream of having a dog and developed into an international company. The heroes of the film are the employees and relatives of Collar. The viewer witnesses the process of creating the first dog collar, is immersed in the atmosphere of manufacturing innovative products and becomes part of the journey.
The company’s founders shared their most sincere memories, emotions and feelings during the filming, from the first dog collar made in a two-room flat to building an international innovative company with a team of over 500 people. With a product presence in 78 countries and social projects, the film tells the story of the challenges and difficulties overcome by the protagonists and how the company recovered after all production and business processes came to a standstill due to the Russian invasion.
An emotional story
The company founders reveal what motivates them, what drives them, what helps them overcome obstacles, realise international projects and work even in the darkest of times. The inspiring messages of the film’s heroes encourage viewers not to be afraid, but to tackle their goals and take action. Since its inception, the company has initiated social projects that are featured in the film. Lilu, Yuriy Sinitsia’s dog, who takes part in twice-weekly dog therapy sessions at the Vidrodzhennya rehabilitation centre, is also one of the main characters in the film.
One of Collar’s key corporate social responsibility initiatives is the Chernihiv Arena stadium, which was built with the company’s funds to support youth football in its home city of Chernihiv. The film tells the story of how the stadium was built, how it all began and how the dream became a reality through inspiring and captivating images.
