Change at the helm for Gimborn

Norbert Röwekämper is leaving Gimborn after eleven years as sole managing director. He will be succeeded by Martin Vlcek, investment manager of Penta Investments in Prague, which has acquired the shares in Gimborn Holding from the financial investor Capiton and the management.

After eleven years as sole managing director and temporarily coproprietor, Norbert Röwekämper is leaving H. von Gimborn GmbH. His successor will be Martin Vlcek, investment manager of Penta Investments in Prague, which acquired the shares in Gimborn Holding from the financial investor Capiton and the management in September 2008. In the last eleven years, Gimborn has positioned itself in international markets and its operations include 50 of its own pet stores in the Czech Republic. Its sales have grown from € 53 mio. in 1998 to over € 73 mio. in 2008.
