New CEO at Nestlé Purina Pet Care

Jean Grunenwald took up the post of new CEO of Nestlé Purina Pet Care Germany in December 2008. The Frenchman succeeds Paolo Fagnoni, who has been appointed CEO of Nestlé subsidiary Maggi. Grunenwald has been with the company for roughly 20 years and has worked for Nestlé Purina Pet Care in France, Italy, Switzerland and Asia. His last appointment was as Vice President Marketing at Nestlé Purina Pet Care Global Resources in the USA. In his current function of Regional Director Mid and North Europe he is responsible for the markets in Hungary, Poland, the Czech Republic and Slovakia as well as Germany and Austria.
