Sizoo confirmed as leading Spanish event

Sizoo, the international show for pet professionals, which will be held from 20th-23rd September, will have over 120 national and foreign exhibitors and a total of 450 brands occupying a gross exhibition area of 31 000 m². These figures were announced by the organiser Fira de Barcelona. Around 50 per cent of the companies applying for space at Sizoo are foreign. Italy heads the list of foreign companies, followed by China, the United Kingdom, the USA, Benelux, Germany, France, Portugal, Brazil and India. With regard to the audience, the organisers expect to receive more than 12 000 trade visitors. At the 2005 show, 36 per cent of visitors were shop owners, 16 per cent veterinarians, 15 per cent manufacturers, 9 per cent wholesalers, 6 per cent breeders, 10 per cent importers/exporters and grooming professionals and the remaining 8 per cent training and specialised press professionals. 4.3 per cent of the visitors in 2005 came from abroad and 79 per cent of Spanish visitors came from Catalonia, followed by 5 per cent from the region of Valencia and 3 per cent each from Madrid and Andalusia.
