The market leader in garden pond technology took advantage of the international garden show Gafa, which finished last Tuesday, to present its new profile. One visible sign of this was a new logo intended to suggest associations with flowing water. The company plans to operate three business divisions in future covering water gardens, fountain technology and lake management. In the water garden division, activities will focus on the private garden pond and running water. In the product segment relating to pumps, filters, care products and swimming ponds, two different product ranges are to be offered in future, Oase Pro and Oase Start. The Oase Pro range is to be marketed exclusively through garden specialists providing a competent advisory service. Oase Start is aimed at the hitherto neglected medium price segment. The standard “Pontec” brand products continue to be available in the lower segment primarily as promotional merchandise.
