On 12 May, Ornamental Fish International (OFI) will present its second OFI Award. The OFI Award was launched in 2005 and honours a person, an organisation, or a company for contributions made to the ornamental aquatic industry. This year there will be just one laureate, whose name will be announced during a reception due to be held in the Piazza of the Messezentrum in Nuremberg at 5pm. The reception is open to all OFI members and members of the press. The first OFI Award, presented on OFI’s 25th anniversary in Singapore, honoured four laureates: Dr. Ngiam Tong Tau (AVA, Singapore), OATA (trade association, UK), Mick Seaby (former chairman of OFI) and (jointly) John and Vivian Dawes (former secretary general and administrator of OFI).
