The Belgians love pets

Pets are accorded a high status in Belgium. Statistics indicate that every household has 2.5 pets on average, and the pet product market has attained a volume of € 482 mio, signifying a slight increase compared with the previous year. To mark the staging of the Anido trade show, which takes place in Kortrijk on 12 and 13 February, we will be reporting in detail on the Belgian pet product market in an 18-page special in issue 1-2 of PET in Europe, which comes out on 26 January.
