The new Hungarian partner contributes 19 builders’ merchants

Hagebau has revealed details of the Hungarian company that has joined Hagebau Austria (www.DIYonline.de has reported). Tüzepker AB, based in Pécs, enters the cooperative on 1 January 2006. The company is active in the building materials trade and has 19 outlets throughout Hungary. Together with its wholly owned subsidiary Dutker Baumaterial Groß- und Einzelhandel GmbH, with a store in Kecskemet, it will contribute € 26.6 mio to the cooperative. The Hungarian retail group Konzum, Pécs, has a 64 per cent holding in Tüzepker, which has annual sales of € 16.7 mio. In 2004 Dutker achieved sales of € 9.9 mio.
