A 10 per cent increase in net sales

Central Garden & Pet Company (“Kaytee”, “Interpet”, “Nylabone”, “Super Pet”) has increased its net sales for the fiscal third quarter by 10.4 per cent to $ 413.2 mio., compared with the third quarter of fiscal 2004. Net income was $ 22.2 mio. for the quarter, an increase of 23.6 per cent, compared with the third quarter in 2004. Net sales for the pet products segment were 163.4 mio., an increase of 12,0 per cent. Operating income for the pet products segment was 23.6 mio., an increase of 20,0 per cent. The fical third quarter ended 25 June.
