The PLMA’s international trade show “World of Private Label” is to take place on 24 and 25 May at the RAI Centre in Amsterdam. According to the organisers, the number of exhibitors and show stands will increase by ten per cent this year. This increase has come about due to the continued growth of private label in all European countries as well as the expansion of the EU eastwards, says PLMA President Brian Sharoff. The growing sales figures for private label are documented in the latest data from AC Nielsen, published in the PLMA’s international Private Label Yearbook for 2005.
