New director at Pets Mart

Since 1994, Kirk has been a partner in the corporate and securities practice section of Gardere Wynne Sewell LLP., a law firm with offices in Austin, Dallas, Houston, Mexico City and Washington D.C. He also serves on the board of trustees for Austin College, and is on the boards of Brinker International and Dean Foods Company. Kirk served two terms as mayor of Dallas, from 1995 to 2001, and prior to that, was the Secretary of State for Texas. He has worked as assistant city attorney for Governmental Relations, chaired the Texas General Service Commission and served as legislative aide to U.S. Senator Lloyd Bentson.
