Eight in one go

Kiriel was founded in 1996 and is a subsidiary of the Avril Group, the French market leader in pet food under the Sanders brand. The Kiriel network comprises independent franchise shops spread across the country in both rural and suburban areas. The company currently has a turnover of approximately 41 mio euros. Currently, three new locations are reported in Grand Bourgtheroulde (27), Glandon (87), Bénévent L’ Abbaye (23) and five new locations from the L’Agneau soleil co-operative, bringing the total number of locations to 94.

Grand Bourgtheroulde is a commune with 3 957 inhabitants in the Eure department in the Normandy region. The Kiriel location La Jardinerie is operated by the company Isa Fleurs. The company has opened its garden centre close to its existing shop in order to offer its customers additional space and more references. The 600 m² shop offers a wide range of products in the garden, animal, regional, clothing and DIY departments, as well as a 200 m² outdoor nursery. Glandon is a French commune with 779 inhabitants in the Haute-Vienne department in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region. The Kiriel Pays de Saint-Yrieix site is a completely new garden and animal centre. The shop covers just over 500 m² and has a 600 m² outdoor area. The garden centre focuses on a large selection of plants in the nursery, a large pet department and an extensive regional department offering many gourmet products.

In Bénévent L’Abbaye, a municipality in the Creuse department in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region, Agricentre Dumas has now decided to operate a third site under the Kiriell name. Two locations were already brought under the company umbrella in 2023. The new location has 400 m² of retail space, including 200 m² of outdoor space. The shop, which has been in business for ten years, is known for its wide range of animal husbandry products for private and business customers. It also sells plants, garden equipment, work clothing, animal feed, regional products and tinned food.
