Conscious consumerism is now being practised in many households and more and more pet owners are asking the question "how can I feed my pet sustainably?" Under its motto 'Greenify our future' Green Petfood has therefore embraced the mission of making the world greener through pet food. The company has been pursuing this policy successfully since 2013 with its dog food VeggieDog, InsectDog and FarmDog. Now it is moving into feline nutrition too: with its slogan 'Good for the environment, good for cats' Green Petfood is launching a sustainable cat food of super-premium quality and with a positive eco-balance onto the market.
The two dry and six moist food varieties have been produced with the need for sustainability and the good of the cat in mind. The complete foods provide the optimum supply of all nutrients. They are grain- or gluten-free delicacies that also contain the Life Protect package of active ingredients, hemp oil or green tea. Green Petfood also uses only animal protein from more species-appropriate animal husbandry, so as to advance improvements in livestock farming more sustainably, as well as using insect protein in selected recipes. The FairCat dry food varieties are available in 300 g and 7.5 kg pack sizes and as 60 g samples, while the moist food comes in an 85 g pouch.
Climate-neutral cat food?

Green Petfood is going a step further and creating a positive eco-balance with FairCat. In this the CO2 emissions of the cat food are not only compensated for, but 25 per cent more CO2 is bound than is generated. FairCat thus makes a positive contribution to climate protection.
