Industry event in ­Poland

Polish companies will be in attendance, exhibiting their new products and services, as will professional breeders and growers, and associations involved with pets and plants.In addition to the standard form of participation in fairs, exhibitors often lend support to the organisers of subject-related exhibitions and lectures. The popularity of these with the visitors gives the event a unique character and makes the fair a hard act to follow for the numerous similar shows that have featured on the event calendar in Poland more recently."Zoo-Botanica is a proven event formula, dedicated to manufacturers and distributors in the pet and plant trade, breeders and trade and industry associations," adds a spokesman from Wigor Agency.

Wroclaw lies to the south of the Trzebnickie Hills and north of Sudeten on the river Oder (Odra) and four tributaries. A city with a population of around 630 000, it is situated on 12 islands linked by more than 100 bridges. Wroclaw is also the city with the most green space in Poland, covering a total area of 293 square kilometres, of which 114 square kilometres are built up.

The fair organiser Wigor Agency offers a full programme of events accompanying the show, with a veterinary panel and lectures and seminars by professionals for professionals. The 5th Dog and Cat Festival will also be staged, with displays of pedigree dogs and cats, agility, fashion and grooming shows. The aquatics exhibition will host the 7th nationwide competition for the most interesting aquarium and the terrarium exhibition will host the 5th nationwide competition for the most interesting terrarium. Last year 200 exhibitors and 15 500 visitors attended the show.
