Radio Systems acquires Pup-Pee Solutions Pet product manufacturer Radio Systems Corporation has announced the acquisition of Pup-Pee Solutions, experts in indoor waste management. Pup-Pee Solutions makes the indoor “Pet Loo” and other waste management products designed for inside the home. Radio Systems says that it will capitalise on Pup-Pee Solutions’ expertise in technology, innovation and leadership and continue to expand the problem-solving brand. The company considers this latest acquisition part of its international growth strategy, which has seen the business bring brands such as “Premier”, “Staywell”, “Drinkwell” and “Innotek” under the “PetSafe” banner in the last few years. Dog Rocks pulls the plug Dog Rocks, a supplier of natural products to help prevent urine burn patches, has come to the end of the road in supplying stock to Amazon Retail in the UK and European pet market after a successful year of sales. The company has said that despite a good volume of sales, it has decided to pull the plug and end supply. The company hopes that when stock is depleted, realistic recommended retail prices and minimum advertised prices will be reinforced and the brand will be better protected, thus restoring a level playing field for all retailers, both online and with bricks and mortar stores. Rolf C. Hagen UK makes its debut Leading international brand Rolf C. Hagen is set to make its debut at the UK trade fair Aqua, which is being held on 9-10 October at the International Centre in Telford. The multinational supplier of products across the pet sector, which has a UK base in Castleford/Yorkshire, has booked the largest stand in the Telford International Centre. Confirmation of Hagen’s presence means that the floor space booked to date already exceeds the total when the doors opened in 2011. Hagen is not the only company scheduled to make its debut at Aqua 2013. In recent weeks there has been a flurry of activity, with show organiser Annie Dyke taking first-time bookings from Beaver Plants, Black Knight, Hobby Fish, Ocean Aquarium, OmegaSea and Peregrine.
