Interzoo – the pulsating heart of the industry

Only a few days remain until Interzoo opens in Nuremberg – and the question on everyone’s lips is whether the world’s biggest pet supplies fair will give the international pet sector the hoped-for boost that it urgently needs. We shouldn’t expect miracles from Interzoo this year. The uncertainty over how the global economy is developing will still be there after the show, but Interzoo can make a substantial contribution to lightening the mood in the pet supplies sector. It can help to further the international spread of existing trends. And it can provide fresh impetus for the future market development of the pet sector by presenting products that are geared even more closely to the requirements of the customers than before. To this extent Interzoo could contribute significantly to enhancing the attraction of pet-owning as a hobby. In the first instance, however, Interzoo will once again provide an unlimited communications platform, so that people who normally only deal with one another over the phone and by E-mail can meet face-to-face, perhaps for the first time. At Interzoo, existing contacts will be strengthened, new contacts made and a real party atmosphere might even be perceptible on some stands. There will be good reason to celebrate at the Dähne Verlag stand in Hall 1, 335 too: PET worldwide marks its tenth anniversary this year. On Saturday 19 May we will host a big celebration at the stand at 4 pm, complete with a delicious birthday cake. New books on aquatics, the expansion of the Pet Retailers trade directory to include the USA and Canada, and the publication of the provisional programme for the International Pet Conference provide further highlights at the Dähne Verlag stand.
