Interzoo, the world's leading exhibition for pet supplies, will have a new brand identity when it returns to Nuremberg, Germany, for the 39th time from 12 to 15 May 2026. The new look features fresh colours, animal motifs and a slight modification of the well-known logo. According to the organiser, Wirtschaftsgemeinschaft Zoologischer Fachbetriebe (WZF), the aim of the brand relaunch is to reflect the dynamism and innovative strength of the exhibition, to adequately represent the wide range of product segments related to the great diversity of pets and, at the same time, to improve digital accessibility for all target groups.
“The colour green has long been associated with Interzoo. By using different shades of green in our new key visual and simplifying the logo, we have achieved a strong depth effect in our imagery“, explains Dr Rowena Arzt, Director of Exhibitions at WZF. “The silhouettes of pets also allow us to recognise the many product segments presented at our world's leading exhibition – after all, products for pets are at the heart of Interzoo.“
The new look will be gradually introduced in all Interzoo communication channels, both print and online, from March. Particular attention has been paid to improving the accessibility of the digital offering.
Gordon Bonnet, Managing Director of WZF, emphasises: “With the new design, we are building on the recognisability and strength of our traditional brand, while at the same time creating a design world that meets the high demands of digital branding and underlines the professionalism of the world's leading exhibition.“ This is particularly true of the world's leading trade fair's iconographic logo, which will retain its independence and recognition in the new look.
