Hunter is regarded as an important company in the German pet supplies sector and boasts a long tradition. Since it was established in 1980, the company has specialised in the manufacture of leather goods for dogs, cats and horses. Its complete range of products now extends from collars, harnesses and leashes as well as halters and snaffle bits made from a wide range of materials via fashionable, functional dog apparel, cushions and beds to care and hygiene products, innovative toys and treats."Our current range now contains over 5 000 different items, the majority of these being accessories for dogs, cats and horses," Nadine Trautwein told PET worldwide. She is the second generation of the family to head the company that her father founded.Dependable qualityOne of the company's cast-iron basic principles is to realise its own ideas and bring them to the international pet product market. "The products must fulfil high demands in terms of quality and functionality and guarantee optimum safety," stresses Nadine Trautwein. She says that customer satisfaction and the well-being of dogs, cats and horses are the primary aims of the company. Product quality combined with attractive design, practical application and a high level of safety will continue to be at the heart of the company's activities, therefore.Hunter's success in securing a steadily growing market share in the 30-plus years of its existence is attributable, Nadine Trautwein believes, to the ranges mentioned. "Thanks to the large portfolio of individual products, reliable service and the consistent development of our 'Hunter', 'Hunter Smart' and 'Hunter Black Label' brands, we have become strongly established in the speciality trade." In-house production allows the company to operate flexibly and develop fashion trends creatively as well as adhering to its set quality standards.Interzoo 2012Hunter is focusing on a large number of new products for its presentation at this year's Interzoo. "We are exhibiting more than 1 000 innovative products for our customers and interested parties from all over the world," says Nadine Trautwein.
