In late 1996, Mathew Bubear had the foresight to approach the Casco Group in the US, which was established in 1983, with a plan to take the American concepts and expertise to the UK and Europe. This was a good move, because the group has now become one of the world's largest manufacturers of retail pet and aquatic store fixtures and aquatic life support systems.
