Now the entrepreneur wants to make top-quality branded products with new designs at acceptable prices available to all interested pet owners. To achieve this, Animal Adventures has become involved in the production and marketing of products created by the Spanish fashion designer Agatha Ruiz de la Prada. The first collection was unveiled at Sizoo 2003 in Barcelona. A fashion show for dogs, orchestrated by the designer herself, formed the backdrop and laid the foundation stone for a notably successful debut and the introduction of the “Agatha Ruiz de la Prada” brand for the pet sector. “An ongoing working relationship and close coordination with Agatha Ruiz de la Prada has enabled us to market the products internationally too in the minimum of time and gain a high level of recognition from customers”, continues Mercedes Roig. The range includes beds, blankets and clothing as well as collars and leads. Designer Agatha Ruiz de la Prada unveiled the first collection from Animal Adventures at Sizoo 2003 in Barcelona. The company’s link with Madrid-based fashion designer Agatha Ruiz de la Prada has propelled the Animal Adventures range to the forefront. The long-standing personal contact between Mercedes Roig and the designer gave rise to the idea of launching the exclusive range of garments onto the market via Animal Adventures. Agatha Ruiz de la Prada works continuously on new collections in her Madrid studio. Animal Adventures then has the job of manufacturing the products in line with the designer’s specifications. Production is carried out by licensed specialist workshops with responsibility for the entire production process, from purchase of the material to packing of the end product. Every product is also packed individually to avoid soiling or damage to the material. The entire manufacturing process is monitored and inspected constantly by Animal Adventures, to guarantee the design and quality. High-quality dog clothing in fresh colours and designs is the speciality of the Spanish company. Currently the products are on sale primarily in Spain, Portugal, Italy and Puerto Rico. However, preparations are well under way at Animal Adventures in Barcelona for extending distribution shortly to the whole of Europe as well as to America and Asia in the long term.
