Andy Irving is the third generation of the family to run Hi-Craft.
At its base in Liverpool the company operates a 7,000 m² distribution facility which houses a production line, administration centre, design department, showrooms and a large warehousing and dispatch building. Hi-Craft still produces thousands of leather collars and leads on its UK production line each week, although it now also has additional production facilities in Hungary and for nylon in China. The company is well set up to be able to use worldwide manufacturing advantages to give its customers a complete value service for pet accessories and products.

British trade visitors to the Glee Petindex show were given their first glimpse of Dog Design by Hi-Craft – originally a German company servicing the exclusive designer dogwear section of the market in small pet boutiques around the world. Dog Design is enjoying tremendous success and acclaim by extending the production of an exciting and beautiful luxury section. Dog Design’s customer base reads like a who’s who for fashion, with clients in London, Tokyo, New York, Beverly Hills and beyond.
