PET in Europe: You are the owner of the relatively new company Bio Pet. What kind of products are you going to present at Interzoo?

Gianluca Vitali: Bio Pet Srl has decided to present itself officially at Interzoo on account of the great importance and prestige of this international fair, and to start marketing its products in Germany due to the well-known sensitivity and attention to quality solutions in the pet sector offered by the German market.
At the fair we will be presenting hygiene products with innovative characteristics (shampoos, anti-odour products, bioactivators, repellents, dissuaders, creams, etc.). I would like to underline here the great importance of our exclusive collaboration and relations with the most prestigious and active European and international animal and environmental protection associations. This collaboration will be realized through the promotion and financial support offered by Bio Pet for their intervention and awareness campaigns regarding animal and environmental protection and in the lack of ingredients of animal origin in the products. In this respect, Bio Pet states its strong condemnation of the use of animals for any type of testing, for whatever reason, due to the great suffering and trauma caused to animals as well as to the complete uselessness of such tests.
All our products are designed in line with the principles of eco-efficient production. They are non-toxic, anergic and highly or completely biodegradable, contain no phosphates, corrosive or caustic substances and use only mineral and vegetable components, which facilitate extensive to full biodegradability and eliminate dry residue as well as giving particularly mild compositions that do not alter the physiological pH of the skin and, in the case of detergents, recover and improve the shine and softness of the hair.
The lack of synthetic components in our formulations is a great help in the prevention of undesirable cases of hypersensitivity or strong intolerances with unpleasant pharmaceutical-like reactions. Such reactions are often connected with the use of partially or totally chemical products or mainly natural products that are however obtained from inappropriate formulations.
For example, the use of vegetable solvents allows us to use our insect repellent both outdoors and indoors without the need to ventilate the room afterwards.
