Spanish company Dibaq-Diproteg, of Fuentepleayo, has two new cat foods. “Dicat Special Formula” is a complete extruded high energy food for cats of all breeds and ages. It`s low in magnesium and has special ingredients of fish and poultry, fructoligosaccharides and brewer´s yeast. The second new product is “Dicat Performance Kitten”, a complete extruded high energy food for kittens and lactating female cats of all breeds and ages. It also contains fish, poultry, fructoligosaccharides and brewer´s yeast.
Swedish food
Swedish company Doggy AB, of Vargarda, offers a ready-to-serve complete food for cats in “Bozita”, which comes in three flavours, salmon, beef and chicken. It consists of 97 per cent pure meat, fish or poultry in a clear jelly. The complete premium food “Katty” (picture) is another new product that is reported to be suitable for all life stages. It is also easily digestible, as it is based on rice and chicken. The composition also ensures an optimum urine pH value, reducing the risk of kidney stones.
Successful premium line
German company Bosch Tiernahrung of Blaufelden reports that the launch of its premium “Sanabelle” range has succeeded beyond all expectations. Acceptance of “Sanabelle” products combined with the price/performance ratio has enabled the company to build up a steadily increasing customer base in a short time, not least in the breeding sector. The company intends to initiate various promotions in the specialist trade in the course of the year and also to expand the range in the autumn.
New flavour
The “Happy Cat Supreme Adult“ product range from German company Interquell, of Wehringen, has now been extended to include “Lamb and Turkey“ flavour. Since many cats refuse food that is based on fish, “Supreme Lamb & Turkey” with easily digestible lamb and turkey proteins is produced without fish ingredients, thus making it ideal for cats that have allergic reactions to fish. Improved with the “Happy Cat Bio” formula, this gives rise to a super-premium food that aids the natural metabolic processes.
