Hagebau saves animal feed

The activities of the company Too good to go are aimed at combating food waste, but now also animal feed and plants: because food waste is seen as a driver of the climate crisis, perishable goods are saved instead of thrown away. Hagebau is now a new partner for the system in Austria: “We are incredibly proud to be the first DIY store in Austria to work with Too good to go,” announced Jürgen Wagner, sales manager retail and specialist trade at Hagebau Austria.

With the Hagebau stores in the Alpine republic, the app includes a snack bag with snacks and sweets, a houseplant and ornamental plant bag, a garden plant bag and a vegetable and herb plant bag. For the first time, there are also surprise bags with pet food for dogs and cats.

The co-operation between the two partners was also launched in Germany and all Hagebau retail outlets can take part.
