Gathering for inspiration and future planning

The Vafo company gathered again this January for the Family Meet Up Vol. 2, "our much-anticipated annual tradition of connecting with colleagues from across Europe". With over 100 attendees from nine countries, employees spent three days sharing ideas, celebrating achievements and looking ahead to an exciting future. In an atmosphere that was warm, vibrant and full of meaningful conversations, from strategy discussions to inspiring presentations - both internal and external - this gathering was all about strengthening bonds.

The conference opened with a warm welcome from Pavel Bouška, Chairman of the Board of Vafo Group, who gave an inspiring and motivational speech to kick off 2025. Throughout the event, several external industry experts made presentations. Mika Sutinen, former CEO of Musti Group, shared his thoughts on what successful leadership will require in the coming years, and Alfred Glander, former CEO of Fressnapf, offered insights into the transformation of retail.

Vafo also welcomed Dagsmark, the Finnish brand that joined the company in 2024, bringing a wet food factory to the group, and celebrated the addition of Petco, a Vienna-based company that brings its own unique brands to Vafo.

A major highlight of the event was a sneak peek at production innovations presented by Karolína Čápová, Vafo Group Product Director, and Milan Jeřábek, Supply Chain Director. The innovations sparked lively discussions and excitement about what's to come.
