The best pet shipping airlines

According to the International Pet and Animal Transportation Association (IPATA), the 2024 Best Pet Shipping Airlines are:

• Air France/KLM/Martinair Cargo (Americas Region)
• Qatar Airways Cargo (Asia and Oceania Region)
• Emirates SkyCargo (Middle East and African Region)
• Lufthansa Cargo (European Region)

IPATA-members are invited to vote on the best pet shipping airline within their regions, considering factors such as airline reliability, communication, transit care, and adherence to the International Air Transport Association’s (IATA) Live Animal Regulations (LAR).

IPATA is the global network of professional pet shippers, with members in over 90 countries serving more than 700 airports worldwide. At IPATA’s annual conference in Budapest (Hungary), over 275 attendees from 51 countries honored award winners, representing 166 different companies or organizations.
