Even if the sun didn't want to reveal itself on the first show day (7 May) at the opening of the world-leading Interzoo trade fair in Nuremberg, the first two days of the biennial international industry event left exhibitors and visitors largely satisfied. The mood was good and, according to information from the organisers, more visitors came on the first day of the fair than in 2018 and 2022. Many exhibitors expect more visitors than two years ago on the other days this year, especially on Thursday - a public holiday in Germany - and on the Friday of the fair.
A host of initiatives for a more sustainable pet industry and exciting approaches to cross-channel customer communication run like a red thread through the exhibition halls at this year's Interzoo. The desire to be more transparent to the outside world is also reflected visually in the stands, most of which are very open and much more clearly laid out than in the past.
