With over two-and-a-half months still to go before the start of Interzoo on 7 May, the pet sector’s world-leading fair is sold out. And this has been achieved with an exhibition area that has been significantly extended by a further two halls compared with the previous edition of the show.
At the start of February, the Interzoo organiser, the Wirtschaftsgemeinschaft Zoologischer Fachbetriebe GmbH (WZF), reported that a new record had already been set when the 2 000-exhibitor mark was passed. Due to continuing high demand, the last available exhibition spaces have now also been allocated. 14 show halls offering a gross exhibition area of more than 140 000 m2 will host well over 2 000 companies from around 70 countries.
“Sold-out Interzoo halls with records for exhibitor numbers, area and international spread demonstrate the huge appeal of Interzoo for the pet sector, which is continuing to grow worldwide,” says Gordon Bonnet, managing director of WZF and ZZF (Zentralverband Zoologischer Fachbetriebe and conceptual sponsor of Interzoo). “For trade visitors, there is no better opportunity across the globe to experience the unbelievable variety of new products and exciting companies at first hand, to engage in networking and to be inspired.”
