The Ukrainian group of companies, Suziria, has announced the establishment of benevolent fund, Suziria Charity. A project has been launched at the same time to support the House of Tails animal shelter, which cares for pets with disabilities. Ten per cent of the Suziria Group’s earnings are currently invested monthly in charitable ventures. To date, 88 charitable foundations have received support, the group has worked with nearly 400 volunteers, and around 300 000 kilograms of food have been donated for beneficial purposes.
By setting up the benevolent fund Suziria Charity, the company has now gone a step further. In view of the broad spectrum of international partners of the group of companies, one of the aims of the fund is to give the international community the opportunity to donate, to help and together to change the lives of pets for the better. The organisation is already bringing various initiatives together and is working side by side with other non-profit foundations, animal shelters, volunteers and animal welfare activists.
To mark its 31 years in operation, the Suziria Group has also invested 500 000 UAH (approx. 12 300 euros) in Anastasia Tykhas House of Tails animal shelter. It is currently home to 160 animals, including 37 dogs and cats with disabilities. Since last summer, the Suziria Charity has been providing active support to the shelter and has donated more than 1 000 kg of food and essential pet requisites to it.
